Web Service for Electronic Vouchers

This bachelor thesis describes a creation of a web service for managing discount vouchers in the company AIS Servis Ltd. The web service is implemented in the programming language Java and provides methods for creating, editing, deleting, searching and applying discount vouchers. It also allows import and export to the CSV (Comma- separated values) file format and the creation of statistics on the application of discount vouchers.

1 The Legal Regulation of Package Travel and the Impact of the Coronavirus Epidemic on It Abstract The thesis deals primarily with the Czech private law regulation of package tours contained in Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, with an overlap into Act No. 159/1999 Coll., on certain conditions of business in the field of tourism and amending Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended, and Act No. 455/1991 Coll., on trade business (Trade Licensing Act), as amended. Due to the fact that this is a fully harmonised area of law, Directive (EU) 2015/2302 of the European Parliament and of the Council on package travel and linked travel arrangements, amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 90/314/EEC is also analysed. Particular emphasis is placed on the interpretation of certain provisions with regard to the epidemic of the covid-19 disease and its impact on the package travel market, through an analysis of the academic literature and recent case law. Attention is also paid to Act No. 185/2020 Coll. on certain measures to mitigate the impact of the SARS CoV-2 coronavirus epidemic on the tourism industry. The koncept of Daily Deals on the internet

This thesis specializes in the concept of daily deals on the Internet, therefore in relatively new form of sales promotion. Thesis is charting the market on which portals of daily deals operate; to find reasons for quick expansion of this marketing tool in the Czech Republic. The goal of the thesis is to introduce the concept of daily deals through the Internet, to chart the market of daily deals in the Czech Republic and in the whole world and, above all, to create recommendations for people, who are interested in this type of e-commerce. The part of the thesis is research of customers' perception of such portals. The research is the base for examination of the defined hypothesis and simultaneously is the base for identification of the main risks while selling through the portals for daily deals. Findings from the research are used for processing recommendations for companies or entrepreneurs, who are interested in using this marketing tool.
Analysis of the discount server type Groupon.com

My work is focused on selling the goods and services via sale servers such as Groupon.com, which is a new brand on the Internet in the Czech Republic. This work consists of the main idea description on which "the selling model" is based on, its origin, development and the other possible alternatives of selling. I tried to find out the reasons why this kind of selling is so popular from customers', sellers' and negotiators' aspects. I used a model that helps me to explain the relation between the number of sold products and selected parameters. The model is based on the dates which have already been finished on the Czech sale servers. Furthermore there are all the results of my questionnaires filled by sellers and customers as well.
